The car, from the Monarchy to the Republic
Prestigious and precious car at collector level and of very important historical value. The Fiat 2800 Ministeriale is a car built between 1938 and 1944 in a sedan version.
In 1939 the "Torpedo" version, a 6-seater convertible limousine version, was added to this. A car that saw the conclusion of the second world war, which was the witness of the passage from the monarchy to the Republic in Italy.It has in fact accompanied both the last Italian monarch, King Vittorio Emanuelel III and Benito Mussolini;Subsequently the first head of the Provisional Government and President of the Italian Republic Enrico de Nicola, of the first President-elect of the Republic Luigi Einaudi and of his successor the President of the Republic Giovanni Gronchi.
Wanted for King Vittorio Emanuele III, after the fall of the Savoy monarchy, they were used by the Provisional Government and by the appointed President of the Republic Luigi De Nicola. Subsequently to the presidents-elect Luigi Einaudi and Giovanni Gronchi.
The production of this particular model, which came from the Farina factory, was limited to only 6 units.
